New version 6 with old version 5

Will the new version 6 work alongside the old version 5. I have two other computers which act as viewing only. Will they work alongside the new version 6. Main computer is running Mac 10.14.6, whereas the two other computers are on lower versions. I can upgrade the main Mac if need be. One of the viewing computers I cannot upgrade as it is running a piece of vital software which is not compatible with later versions of Macs.

Yes, you can use an unlicensed instance of SecuritySpy 5 to view live video from a licensed instance of SecuritySpy 6, or vice versa. And, the system requirements for SecuritySpy 5 and 6 are the same (minimum macOS 10.13.6), so any Mac that can run SecuritySpy 5 will be able to run SecuritySpy 6.

Sorry, Ben. I made a mistake. The two older Macs are running on 10.12.6 and version 4.2 of SecuritySpy, so I guess that it's not possible to run version 6 and version 4.2 alongside each other.
